I used a heart embossing folder in the background and a very old house mouse stamp that came from "I don't know and I don't remember buying it." I actually always stayed away from buying these because I knew the coloring was difficult for me, but there it was......in a drawer.... 😊 <p></p>StampTrampshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15894571810886349755noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1846071286542415603.post-86501055889212241302021-02-20T15:30:00.000-05:002021-02-20T15:30:28.345-05:00Let's go fishing....<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjge0M-yyT_9UtyA9vqvhlJOkYkyVEPefxyQ0M_rU6Ww5nWEI1Rdo9gcleQ4UuaLg0LpXvIMClT-IJAnRPs3xzx04lTpuSWfMBwbKwuEgYtFTRnntO3YwaqkaSmnS5xPB8I5ZxVwImoOe-J/s2048/DSCN2861.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjge0M-yyT_9UtyA9vqvhlJOkYkyVEPefxyQ0M_rU6Ww5nWEI1Rdo9gcleQ4UuaLg0LpXvIMClT-IJAnRPs3xzx04lTpuSWfMBwbKwuEgYtFTRnntO3YwaqkaSmnS5xPB8I5ZxVwImoOe-J/s320/DSCN2861.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXRd2v8bFZGFC1NbqMn0MNIEAGxFO0MH9_bh5XLMW27nFC4lQngpTV6YtY3odUCX2iM_iHDAnP-4qZ0evDvIQvDgSf7-Bgsl1jx3uuoL8_dB3KeHBsaHpmzHlvABlSM5rdafko6dtypMi7/s2048/DSCN2860.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXRd2v8bFZGFC1NbqMn0MNIEAGxFO0MH9_bh5XLMW27nFC4lQngpTV6YtY3odUCX2iM_iHDAnP-4qZ0evDvIQvDgSf7-Bgsl1jx3uuoL8_dB3KeHBsaHpmzHlvABlSM5rdafko6dtypMi7/s320/DSCN2860.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Nothing spectacular here, just going through the masculine drawer and found the fishy papers and thought it was time to use them up. I used another unmarked stamp for the filigree, embossed it with white and topped it with a die cut of curly stems and leaves and a die cut hello. So frustrating! I've had these for a long time and I wish I had a clue where they came from. When I started "accumulating" things to make cards, I never bothered to write down the companies and now I'm certainly regretting it. They were fun, although gluing the rainbow pieces was a bit frustrating. I didn't like the plain sun, so I gave it a smiley face. I'm not sure if it's better that way or not. Easily corrected by just gluing a plain sun on top, but for right now, I'll keep the face. The world needs some smiley faces.</p>StampTrampshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15894571810886349755noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1846071286542415603.post-53683591509479001372021-01-23T15:07:00.000-05:002021-01-23T15:07:10.287-05:00Bela rides again<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlxmKBbbaFQAVpFAD0KFlbqTI4b2Fp3G-20GmjyfXi7nZXzj0gCYWY5dN1gF1XB3pEnd2edLXUXF0SsexkfrR8eU3pQhA0x9FtrJscsYCq1w06KdnQH_1r1ttZd3qweGkiTlAoxYAzOZ0M/s2048/Bela2021.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlxmKBbbaFQAVpFAD0KFlbqTI4b2Fp3G-20GmjyfXi7nZXzj0gCYWY5dN1gF1XB3pEnd2edLXUXF0SsexkfrR8eU3pQhA0x9FtrJscsYCq1w06KdnQH_1r1ttZd3qweGkiTlAoxYAzOZ0M/s320/Bela2021.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Bela Lugosi rides again. I like to use things up and I'm getting tired of having the kits just sitting. <p></p><p><br /></p>StampTrampshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15894571810886349755noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1846071286542415603.post-9733180044562617922020-12-19T14:42:00.000-05:002020-12-19T14:42:09.834-05:00A Little Holiday Cheer<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXJY9twbx5GFHxArSnpfUJgUMkem8jXPTnK5AjDFfFwRpWS41TA9Dy8qKxeh9coScCAZvQ1w3bW72lLeYJFg6yZMeeFwDHML8xmO1BbZLXLXUwKvsBK_3OFZs8k359iJtsbCwAS-zTgxjM/s1496/christmasstencil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1275" data-original-width="1496" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXJY9twbx5GFHxArSnpfUJgUMkem8jXPTnK5AjDFfFwRpWS41TA9Dy8qKxeh9coScCAZvQ1w3bW72lLeYJFg6yZMeeFwDHML8xmO1BbZLXLXUwKvsBK_3OFZs8k359iJtsbCwAS-zTgxjM/s320/christmasstencil.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Just "a little" holiday cheer - coz I'm really lacking in it this year. There was too much empty sky and I didn't want to fill it with bats, although that would have been nice..... so I found this witch and last night was a full moon. Unfortunately, I kept the witch stamp in a baggie, so I have no idea what company it's from. (Hero Arts) I thought I had a lot of patience, but OMG, I threw out so many first attempts before I got used to this. You really need to be precise with the stamp platform or it's just a mess. This is a new set of stamps from Tim Holtz -- who doesn't love the snarky cats? I used some paper from a Halloween matstack and then a die cut on the inside. I was afraid that it was going to be messy, especially after reading all the blog posts about it, but I didn't find it messy at all. I only used one paper plate, and about 20 paper towels. I used the plate from my Big Kick to scrap the shaving cream off the paper and I used food coloring because I don't have any colored ink refills for my stamp pads. I was really happy with the results and I'll probably do it again, after I get some other colors. I only had red, blue and green leftover from dying Easter eggs long ago. The most surprising thing for me was how fast the paper dried. I did have to put it under a heavy book for the night to flatten it out though. The next technique I'm going to try uses shaving cream - that one MUST be messy! lol ~Nancy</div> <p></p>StampTrampshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15894571810886349755noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1846071286542415603.post-43378715257991707592020-08-07T15:09:00.002-04:002020-08-07T15:09:49.071-04:00Blending Brushes<p> Blending brushes are so cool. I got a few at the Dollar Tree and loved them so much that I sent away for a small, inexpensive set. I'm really enjoying them. I've always had trouble with backgrounds and mostly used chalks but these brushes are a lot of fun and I've never had a fail playing with them yet. I used a new set of Gina K. stamps for this one. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrtAOwpOIUiwEzmhggMxLJgRViOjlRCt737zs_Y21XXfoOHjf_aJHnTea5cEdBEK6q4ARz0rBpaIXWzQtO0fp03f7zeHiOHLTIS_v5maX45wBKGyHdD8w9N0oVpxFul_GpE_i9vUzpEwlK/s576/lighthouse.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="576" data-original-width="453" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrtAOwpOIUiwEzmhggMxLJgRViOjlRCt737zs_Y21XXfoOHjf_aJHnTea5cEdBEK6q4ARz0rBpaIXWzQtO0fp03f7zeHiOHLTIS_v5maX45wBKGyHdD8w9N0oVpxFul_GpE_i9vUzpEwlK/s0/lighthouse.jpg" /></a></div><p>~Nancy</p>StampTrampshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15894571810886349755noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1846071286542415603.post-44705865816380175142020-07-25T12:52:00.000-04:002020-07-25T12:52:18.856-04:00July Fun<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoj6tF_0Y5BbCgj85g2CpN05tOVOjTCIWjzqOsh36IPh3_sOSNKO1pv0fI33VuvhjYKTyfLeQt9jZ1OYk8WkJyB7ster5i7i0T88arG5VQ_RljG0gI2oUWiE13VOWYP9MMaAPRWvyzEyQJ/s640/rip.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoj6tF_0Y5BbCgj85g2CpN05tOVOjTCIWjzqOsh36IPh3_sOSNKO1pv0fI33VuvhjYKTyfLeQt9jZ1OYk8WkJyB7ster5i7i0T88arG5VQ_RljG0gI2oUWiE13VOWYP9MMaAPRWvyzEyQJ/s320/rip.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNt-wgZjHcjfl73hViJ9Twi2C7gPhUjCwUR4vXJPr8LBkXpkWJfzdevMFT8PUYC3wpr-DrsaULot4z5F156nNeLIl19AkbnD1ADCPtBS32J5YoC4SHy79JIc4Qfjjr6MS5IS8YSEuHxwg2/s640/scarecrow.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNt-wgZjHcjfl73hViJ9Twi2C7gPhUjCwUR4vXJPr8LBkXpkWJfzdevMFT8PUYC3wpr-DrsaULot4z5F156nNeLIl19AkbnD1ADCPtBS32J5YoC4SHy79JIc4Qfjjr6MS5IS8YSEuHxwg2/s320/scarecrow.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm still stuck on Gina K. videos and playing with backgrounds and brushes.
