I wasn't really thrilled with how these came out, so I started digging through my drawer of stamped stuff and found an image leftover from a few weeks ago. I could make Halloween cards forever.
The next card is from a stamp I bought in April at a show, it's by Rubbernecker. I love their stuff. I stamped it multiple times in a row and embossed with white embossing powder. When I went outside to take the photos for the post, I realized that it had become a warm and beautiful day and decided it was as good a time as any to pull up the rest of the wilted flowers that got hit by Friday night's frost.
Thanks for checking in! ~Nancy F.
You've been busy again I see! That Halloween card is just awesome! I LOVE the punched rat border with that great spider web! I love how you split it into banners - that's such a great look! The last card looks great too with those pretty colors and images!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I wasn't the only one that initially had problems with this sketch! I'm with Carol -- I love, love, LOVE the Halloween card, but I think the bean ones look great, too. (LOVE that paper!) And the bottom one is just beyond pretty. I now have card envy.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Cute and scary spiderwebs! I love it! These are all great. I love the last one ... What a beautiful image!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that spiderweb! The rats creep me out a little, but it's got a great effect. Thanks for sharing your talents with OWH!
ReplyDeleteAll are wonderful cards! I love coffee so of course my #1 pick is any of those! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the coffee bean cards. I also really like the bottom one too.
ReplyDeleteAll are great cards! But I also have to admit...the coffee ones are my favorite...Jill <--who is a Big time coffee drinker!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I like the first set!
ReplyDeleteFantastic cards! I love the coffee bean paper and sentiment, I'm a big time coffee drinker too. It's so cool how you cut the spiderweb paper into strips and left spaces in between them. Great take on the sketch. The 3rd one is lovely and I love how you did the stamping on the strips.
ReplyDeleteNancy, I think your bean cards came out very nice and I'm sure the recipients will thing so also. I also love your Halloween card and your last card is lovely. A terrific bunch of cards for our heroes.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why you don't like the bean cards, because I absolutely LOVE them! I have that stamp set and might be CASEing those in the near future. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore the coffee set of cards they are soooooo cute! Can you please tell me more about those adorable beans-- I assume you stamped your own DSP?? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful set of cards. I agree, the beans are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI think your cards came out just fine. I also love the bean cards the best, and that web cut into the banners looks fabulous too. I can sympathize about having a disconnect when a card doesn't come out like how I've planned it in my head. No problems, here, however. They all look terrific!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome, Nancy! I love the spider web card with the creepy border.
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy!! I love the creepy spiders on your Halloween card!
