I'm falling behind in my resolution to do all the OWH challenges this year and it's only February. I've managed to get caught up this weekend. Tuesday's tutorial was using watercolor markers. I don't have any, so I used watercolor papers. They're like the old fashioned watercolors in the metal box, but the pigment is on a piece of paper instead. I also used the same stamp as in a previous challenge This time I took
Paula's suggestion of putting a sentiment across the lower left. Good suggestion, Paula!
The midweek throwdown called for a birthday card.
I enjoyed looking through all the cards from the hop on Saturday. Here's my critter cards -
And to finish up, or start the new week, depending on how you look at it, here's Sketch 158. It's a midweek birthday critter!
I hope I don't get this far behind again!
...................I just realized I haven't done the ODBD fruit challenge yet!
wow- you make a ton of great cards! The stamp and the colors in your first card- beautiful! Your critter cards are sweet- love the cat in the fish bowl! Very cool with the knots in the twince! Way to go to get caught up! I have to do the OSBD challange too- fruit...this may be hard! TFS!
ReplyDeleteOh wow...there's so much to love about all of these cards! I seriously adore the amazing hanging monkey! Oh so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy!! That monkey is too cute... and technically, he's a critter too. :)
ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are so cute and so much fun! I love the scene on the first card, and the colors look great! I'm behind on challenges too as I have other projects I'm working on, but I don't let it stress me anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe idea for my Simon Says card came to me as I slept - and I woke up with the idea in my head. Am I weird or what? LOL
You are never behind! Great body of work.
ReplyDeletewonderful group of cards. I really like how you flipped today's sketch. Your little monkey is so adorable. Thanks for all of your inspiration. I know it can be challenging keeping up with all the challenges, tutorials, hops, etc. I do what I can -- my goal this year is to concentrate on filling up my box for OWH with more cards than I did in 2012. Enjoy the process of crafting. :-)

You really have been busy. Great that you have managed to get caught up again. Love all the cards but the watercolor one is really outstanding.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. Love the sketch card esp the touches of turquoise. Tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are catching up nicely. All great cards, especially your critter cards. Thanks for reminding me about the ODBD challenge. I had forgotten all about it.
ReplyDeleteNancy, these are all so amazing. You have such a great assortment of stamps! I am trying to make more critters and cute cards, since I seem to always lack in that department. That is where it is good for me to break into my digi stash. I really draw inspiration from what you create.
ReplyDeleteBusy busy!! :) I love all of your cards! I think that little birthday monkey for the sketch card is just adorable. Don't worry, I haven't gotten around to doing my fruit card yet either! :)
