I also made some ruffled cards this weekend. The first two went into the trash, I don't know why I was having so much trouble with them, it was mostly my poor taste in papers, because I was more concerned about trying to use up scraps. When I finally decided to find some nice paper that I liked and wanted to use, things progressed a lot better. So, the scraps are back in the scrap bin. ~ Nancy F.
Love what you did with this sketch, and a great idea to use a scene from some of the papers. Your ruffle cards also turned out nicely. I had the same problem making just one in trying to use up scraps...but persisted and did finally make one using monochromatic blues which took a while.

ReplyDeleteBoy I'm really running behind here and hopefully sketch 69 will be able to jumpstart my Mojo -- love what you did with it - and I agree it's a great way to use those odd large patterned papers.... nice ruffle cards too
