Sketch 105 - Take Two and One Notch Up

We were encouraged to kick it up a notch this week.  I liked the previously posted card, but realized I just used the Snoopy and snowman a few week's ago. So here's my take on Sketch 105.  I used some old stickers that came from Big Lots a few years ago and paper from a Momenta tablet and tried to put my own spin on it.

OWH Sketch #105

Not much to tell about this one.  I used a Snoopy stamp and a Cuttlebug emobssing folder and got rid of 3 strips of scrap paper.  Easy and quick!  No snowman here though, the stuff is too light and fluffy.  ~Nancy F.

A New Year's Resolution

Over the holidays, I decided to make it my mission to go through all the weekly sketches at Operation Write Home, and make a card for each one of them, and I noticed a lot of other OWH'rs are doing the same thing.  I've been enjoying the Sunday Sketch Challenge for quite some time, but I knew I didn't get in on it right from the start, so what better time to get a move on?
Then, last week, the most amazing thing happened.  I was given 2 boxes of stamps......  Two....whole.....boxes.......AWESOME.......... I am having THE BEST TIME!!!! (yes, I'm shouting...and thank you, Kim!)
So.  I've made it through #32.  More to come later!   ~Nancy F.

OWH Sketch Challenge #102

My monthly box of cards for OWH is taking way too long to get filled!  I started falling behind in December and now I'm trying to get back on track.  I started this sketch by trying to step out of my norm.
Then I started rooting around in my drawer of unfinished stuff.  That led to this, which took barely any time at all.  I feel slightly guilty about that.
Since three is a luckier number, I figured I'd better come up with one more card.  I've had this paper for a few years, and was never really sure what to do with it, as it seemed much more of a scrap booking type thing.  I think it worked out well for this card.
Thanks for looking, and Happy New Year to everyone!  ~Nancy F.
