Stencils

I saw a photo in a magazine that used leaf punches.  Somehow, I was inspired, but ended up using stencils.
I had tucked them away and intended to get rid of them.  I think I'll keep them now.

These are from one of those packs of paper I bought, which I should have left in the store.  Too many like pages to deal with!  It'll be years before I can use it all up.

Halloween Already????

It seems like all the stores are ready for Halloween, so I decided to get on the bandwagon.
This is a Prickley Pear stamp that I bought several years ago at a show.  I can finally use glitter embossing powder, since these are not going to the Heroes.  Also, good news, I sent off a pack of cards to the Oregon Coast Avid Stampers and got a nice reply!  I'm so glad to be able to continue making cards for the troops!

There's Only One You

I'm having fun playing with some Stampin' Up sets that were given to me by Kim M.  This set us called Painted Posies.  I miss playing with just stamps and ink sometimes.  All those other toys are wonderful, but there's nothing more satisfying than getting your fingers all dirty and smudging things and having to use bling to cover them up.... or maybe not....

Double Duty Cards

I bought this pack of paper at a craft store for a buck.  I love the colors, but the paper is just way too busy for me.  The only thing I could come up with to do with it was cut it up.  I like theses cards because I can make a bunch and then stamp the sentiment I need later.
I'm open to all other suggestions!

So Long To An Old Friend

It was strange removing the Operation Write Home badges from the blog.  Now it feels empty.,,,

I will be sending a box of cards to the Oregon Coast Avid Stampers, who have a similar mission.
I decided to work on Clean And Simple.  I have a lot of trouble with it, and just the name would make you
think it was easy, but - far from it!  These look clean and simple, but they took a long time!
