This has been a really great weekend. The Lehigh Valley Cardaholics held a card making party on Saturday and 14 people attended! It turned out great, in spite of us not really knowing what we were doing as far as planning. There were travelers from Gilbertsville and Spring City, Pa. and other parts unknown and we're so happy they decided to make the trip! (if anyone is in witness protection or wants their photo pulled off the blog - let me know...)
Not to mention these Any Hero cards.... I'll be consolidating the two smaller boxes into one larger one and mailing it all off to Caro tomorrow. All tucked and sorted too!
There were some questions about some of the "stuff" yesterday and as I put things away this morning, I found some answers.
And here's a link to Picture Show stamps, which is the company that I just couldn't get off the tip of my tongue.

Many, many, many, many, many thanks to everyone who helped make yesterday a success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow Nancy, were there really that many cards?! We did good :) I was so happy to be there and look forward to going the next time too! I came home and had no internet service or phone, so I finished 3 more kits and will soon have my own box ready to ship! Thanks for having me, and I really had a great time! It was great to finally meet you :)
ReplyDeleteIt was really nice to put faces with all the names. I'm so glad you had a good time and were able to make the drive with no difficulties. And Macungie sure was scenic this weekend too!

Wowza! What a ton of cards ya'll made! I love the Halloween card too - it's cool how the spider web goes across two papers. Sounds like you had a lot of fun and did some great cards for OWH!
ReplyDeleteBoo to you! How cute! The fence die is awesome! You say you did not know what you were doing, but you were all pros in my eyes. Maybe next time the people will double, and we will get them all made.
ReplyDeleteNancy, I was so sorry that I was not able to make the trip to stamp with guys. I'm sure I missed a wonderful, fun filled day. I loved seeing the pictures. With all your great efforts you are going to be able to make a lot of heroes and families much happier. Great Halloween card also. Enjoy your week.

Thanks again for making the trip! We couldn't have come anywhere near 755 without all of you! We'll have to have a repeat performance!
DeleteGreat sketch card, Nancy! Love the black cat on the fence :) Way to go on the cardmaking party as well! Looks like fun! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your adorable card! The fence die in front of the image is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe there were that many cards! You guys did a GREAT job organizing the get together. I'm so honored that you invited me and can't wait to come to the next one.
Your Halloween card is terrific!! I need to dig out my Halloween stuff. Your party was a great success. I'm thinking it was fun time too...especially if you had a few people in the witness protection program.
