I'm just going to totally ignore the weather, because I have wonderful neighbors and by late last night, they had totally plowed my driveway. They know I love them and I constantly try to fatten them up with shoo fly pies or brownies. Whenever it snows, I run a personal baking marathon....lol.
I don't know about anyone else, but I had trouble getting started with Sketch 93. I just don't like crooked stuff!! It gives me the willies. I have about 20 various papers cut to the proper sizes, just taunting me on my work table. Number 1 turned out ok and I think it's my favorite. At first, I thought it was going to be a little bit too busy.
Number 2 is using up some cute robot papers that came in a kit. I had no intention of putting that gear where it is, but I had it all glued up, and dropped it......whoops!!! Had to make it work where it landed.....
With Number 3, I tried to use some really pretty paper, and just let that speak for iteself.
And my last attempt is going to be a birthday card for my bro-in-law, who was the conductor of the Macungie Band for 25 years. He can't be bothered with blogging, so he'll never see this.
So, I'm pretty sure Sketch 93 has helped me get over my crooked problem! ~Nancy F.
Totally LOVE your Snoopy card!
ReplyDeleteEach of these cards have a wonderful personality of their own. I like every one of them. Your "drop" on the gears worked out rather nicely. Your Bro-In-Law will be very pleased with his card I'm sure. The snoopy card is precious and the flower card does speak very nicely for itself. Great job on all.
ReplyDeleteoh wow... these are AWESOME!!! thanks for sharing ~ Pam
ReplyDeleteI think you mastered the crooked problem. They all look so nice. I think the birthday is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards...each so unique! I love the robot card and the happy accident! Sometimes those are the best! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteNancy, you may not care for "crooked" but you made 4 wonderful cards from the sketch, each one fun and unique. I love Snoopy, the robot and your conductor card is so great for a guy!!
ReplyDeleteThese are ALL great! Love the snoopy one!
ReplyDeletewell, you know I love the crooked stuff but I didn't get a chance to work on much this weekend considering the SNOW and the POWER OUTAGES .... sorry.. just a small rant ... the cards are great, as usual. is the conductor one a stamp - don't think I've ever seen it ... and'pretty paper' one is nice too and makes me want to go through all my 'pretty paper' that I never want to use ...
ReplyDeleteLove all your crooked cards, Nancy! And that gear looks great right where it fell, lol! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteYou did great with all of your cards, especially where you dropped the gear! It looks perfect where it landed!
