OWH - Sketch 143

I found this cute paper in my stash and tried to make the sentiment look like it was in a cloud.  Not sure if that was very successful......
I am also in need of some hero cards, and thought this would be a good way to use some of my red, white and blue ribbon.  I would have tried to do some more cards for the sketch, but I ended up spending most of my morning working on my own Christmas cards.
Unfortunately, this image turned into a tedious project, so it's looking like only one of my relatives is going to be getting this card.......everyone else will get something a little less involved......shhhhhhh....don't tell them!

  6. Hi Nancy! Bravo on another great sketch completion! I do love that hero card. As for the scene card, I have made the mistake of thinking I was going to make many, and many turned into a single. LOL! It's okay. It sure is purty, though! Your cards always rock.

  11. Thanks for you wonderful comments on my blog! The card you really liked is one that's quite easy to create with any Background Stamp! I tend to LOVE Hero Arts and learned this technique from Jennifer McGuire. I randomly ink the stamp with colors of Ranger Distress Inks....then I mist the stamps with water or Perfect pearls mist and stamp directly to Watercolor paper...it hold the water best. The more ink and mist, the more the colors run! I then let them dry or use a heat gun, If I need it quickly! They are so fun!!

    Thank you again!

I also think your Sketch Cards are fabulous and creating for OWH, as you do! A fabulous group!!

    Hugs,
    Lisa
