Finally! Nice weather in Pa.! Woo hoo!
So, let's get busy............... We've got Our Daily Bread's monthly challenge - Miss You cards -
And Sketch 171 -
And a kid's card using a sketch - I just went with the same one Paula used - #28.
Sandy wanted romance cards. My stamp selection in that department is slim. This is the best I could do and it may be a little too cutesy.
Use a photo on a card. Well, I don' t have any way of doing a nice print out of a photo, so I had to go with this awesome stamped image that Mary Anne sent me. She used a plethora of stamps to make this image. It's as close to an actual photo as I could get. And I don't think I really did it justice on my coloring. Hers was spectacular.
Looks like I missed the midweek throw down too. Here's my thank you card for that.
Still working on the VCMP challenges......here's my take off on a scrapbook page that I had made a few years earlier.
And of course, booglie eyes. Things are getting kind of rushed now, it's a work week and I'm not as happy with how things are turning out.
A little late on adding Joann's summertime request, but better late than never!
You know I am a big fan of your work, and these are all amazing, Nancy! I am so honored you used that little Stampscapes scene as your photo. Your sky is beautiful! They have such detail, that it is very hard to mess them up. Great job on all.
ReplyDeleteyou did a fantastic job on all of your cards. Love the Mickey one. so cute. Thanks for sharing charlsie
ReplyDeleteOh my... so many nice cards in this group! Your kids card is sweet, the scrapbook card is a terrific masculine design... your take on the 'photo' card is wonderful (and I think the coloring is very well dome)... and how can you possibly go wrong where Mickey is involved!? LOL (I'm a big Disney fan :) -- Nice job all around! I am so glad you got to play along in the VCMP this weekend.
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards Nancy! I don't know how to pick a favorite among them, but I'm really digging that old pick-up truck and all the hardware! I have some of the same Mickey Mouse dsp left from a scrapbook project I did years years ago, and you've inspired me to use it with that great sketch!! Mickey always makes me smile :) NJ on all!!
