OWH Sketch 159 and some catching up

It's been another busy week and I haven't had time to post anything, but I did manage to get caught up with the Our Daily Bread Challenge for February, the Midweek Throwdown and Sketch 159!  The ODBD challenge this month was to make a card with fruit.  I've used this mouse paper before and this is the last piece.  I feel good that I'm using things up!

The Midweek Throwdown was a call for cards for kids.  Those are my very favorite cards to make for OWH, I bet half my monthly box contains them.

And to finish up for today, Sketch 159, slightly tweeked.  I made this card for my nephew's birthday, which is coming up in April.  The glue on the toothpicks/drumsticks isn't quite dry yet.

  2. Ahhh, these are very creative and FUN cards! I just love that little mouse with those berries, and you always make the greatest kids cards! I love the drumsticks on that last card, and the background looks awesome! Was it stamped or is that just dsp? Whatever it is - it looks so cool!
And I'm a celebrity now? Bwahahaha.........girl, you are TOO funny, but thanks for the kind words. Ok, I'm off to sign some autographs now........(believe that and I'll tell you another one) LOL :)

  3. The mouse card is hysterical...the bite out of the strawberry and tail are perfect details! The sketch card "rocks" in my opinion. Is that a stamp or digi? Let me know...tfs!!!

  4. Yep, Carol is a celebrity for sure! Two showcased cards in such a short time makes her qualified, huh? These are all awesome, Nancy, but I have to say I am drawn to the toothpick drumsticks, as my DS has been a drummer since age 12. Thanks also for the reminder of the fruit challenge. I almost forgot!

  5. You've been a busy gal Nancy, and these terrific cards prove it. The mouse is adorable, and the kids cards are so cute. Love the colors and paper you used. Your sketch card just blows me away! Love the background paper with the music notes and that the drums are stamped on yellow. Really pick up the yellow in the background. The toothpick drumsticks are sheer genius and are the perfect touch. Thanks for playing this week!

  6. Your cards for kids are adorable and the one for your nephew is equally as nice. It would also make a good one for our heroes to send home to a teen. Great job with all.
