Happy New Year (or Harlicher Nei Yahr for all my Pa. Dutch friends) !!

I started off 2013 with good intentions of doing all the challenges and made it halfway through the year before "life" took over.  I'm going to try it again, maybe I can get a little farther through the year this time.

The mid-week throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home is our choice of top mid-week challenges from last year.  I love, love, love making cards for kids.  These are going in my box that I'm preparing to mail right now.

Here's my top ten cards from last year.

Have a great and productive New Year!

  3. What a marvelous collection of cards! Your kid cards are great, but I was blown away by the bowler/glasses/mustache card. Amazing!

Any chance I could have the leaf and tree stamp set at the bottom of the page? I'd certainly be willing to reimburse for shipping.

    1. Thank you so much for the stamps and pretty papers. I took you up on your challenge to quit hoarding my favorite paper. See my post here: http://bobbistreasure.blogspot.com/2014/01/i-cut-up-my-favorite-piece-of-paper.html

  7. Those are some fabulous cards you've shared today, and I always enjoy seeing what you're creating! I especially love the navy and rat race card! Every time I see that rat it cracks me up! LOL
No thanks for the stamps - I just sorted out a whole tub of stamps that I no longer use and need to purge more! We should set up a swap club for others to enjoy all our stamps to get better mileage out of them huh? I couldn't even sell a single set at a garage sale in October, so I need to find a place to donate them!! Have a happy new year, and hopefully one day soon we can get together and stamp again!

  12. You've had a great 'creative' year Nancy! I can totally relate to both— crafting but not posting and life getting the the way, but I admire that you'd even take on the challenge in keeping up with all the OWH Challenges... I'm not even pretending I could attempt that! LOL Good luck and Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and creative 2014!

  17. Wonderful group of cards! My favorites have to be the chicks/monkeys tumbling around. I love the joyful look of them. I did the same type of thing with penguins on some Christmas cards. That mustache card is so silly it made me smile!
